Senecio Radicans (String of Bananas)

Like any other succulent, Senecio radicans (String of Bananas) requires indirect sunlight for optimal growth. Direct sunlight can lead to sunburn, so it's best to place it in a partially shaded area or an area with cover from taller plants if grown outdoors. Indoors, place it near east, south, or west-facing windows, but avoid full exposure to sunlight. In low light conditions, a Grow Light can be used. Water sparingly as the stems and leaves can store water, only watering when the soil is dry to the touch. To prevent root rot, ensure the pot has good drainage, and use well-draining soil such as a cactus mix or a 2:1 mix of potting soil and coarse sand. Fertilize with a half-strength balanced blend specifically made for succulents to support growth and flowering.
