Pachypodium Lamerii

Maximize growth and health of your Pachypodium Lamerii by providing it with full light and warm temperatures. For indoor growth, place it near a south or west-facing window. This versatile plant can thrive in various types of well-drained soils, including sandy soil near the sea and limestone. For optimal results, use cactus compost and maintain a mildly acidic to mildly alkaline pH between 6.1 and 7.8. Watering should be done when the soil becomes dry, with less frequent watering in winter. Fertilize with a general-purpose liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half-strength twice a year, or a low nitrogen liquid fertilizer every four to five weeks. Avoid fertilizing in fall or winter, and continue to water and feed whenever new growth appears.
