Monstera Adansonii

Given the origins of this tropical plant, it should come as no surprise that it’s a fan of bright, indirect light. When they receive too little light, their growth tends to slow, and they produce even smaller leaves. While the plant won’t die, it won’t look as good. If you notice your Monstera Adansoni looking sparse or spindly, it may need more light. 

On the other hand, too much direct sunlight can quickly burn the gorgeous, delicate leaves. The best spot for this plant is near a sunny window, where it can receive at least eight hours of indirect sunlight a day.  

Monsteras are fans of moist soil, thanks to their tropical origins, and the Monstera Adansonii is no different. However, they don’t like soggy or waterlogged soil, which encourages root and stem rot.
