Plants with green leaves thrive with direct light, while those with differently colored leaves prefer bright indirect or filtered sunlight.

When planting, use a high-quality potting mix with a pH of 6-6.5 and water when the soil feels dry. Do not water excessively and avoid reusing drained water.

Feeding with slow-release pellets in the spring and weekly liquid fertilizer during the growing season will promote healthy growth. Keep the plant in warm temperatures and in a high humidity environment to prevent leaf drop.

Avoid placing the plant near cold drafts.
